LTL Consultants, Ltd. is currently seeking a Sewage Enforcement Officer/Soil Scientist to join our Company. LTL provides Sewage Enforcement Officer services to numerous municipalities in Berks County.
Essential Duties
- Dig and perform on-lot percolation tests.
- Review sewage applications and issuance of permits.
- Conduct inspections for on-lot sewage systems.
- Review and approve planning modules.
- Conduct investigations of possible violations.
Qualifications
- PA SEO Certification preferred. Opportunity to become certified with a 4-year college degree in a related curriculum.
- Knowledge of current sewage enforcement code regulations.
- Motivation and ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects.
- Ability to perform tasks with minimal oversight.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
- Ability to adjust to changing schedules.
- Capability of completing work on your own, as well as with a team.
Strong emphasis is placed on the ability to effectively communicate technical information, orally and in writing, in a professional manner to contractors, developers, property owners, employees, consultants, other governmental agency representatives, municipal officials and the public. The position offers a desirable mix of office and fieldwork opportunities.
