CIVIL ENGINEER/MUNICIPAL ENGINEER/LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT

LTL Consultants, LTD., has a full-time job opening in our Oley, PA office for a Civil Engineer and/or Landscape Architect with land development and municipal services experience.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil design and/or municipal services with a BS in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture to join our municipal engineering team. LTL provides consulting engineering services to numerous municipalities in Berks, Chester and Montgomery Counties.

Essential Duties

  • Civil and site design (structural design a plus)
  • Stormwater management and erosion and sediment control design
  • Review of subdivision and land development plans
  • Construction observation and inspection
  • PaDEP and PennDOT permit application preparation
  • MS4 permit implementation and management
  • Preparation of plans using AutoCAD
  • Municipal ordinance and planning document preparation

Qualifications

  • BS in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture
  • PE or RLA license preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in related fields
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with acceptable driving record for the past three years.

Strong emphasis is placed on the ability to effectively communicate technical information, orally and in writing, in a professional manner, to contractors, developers, property owners, employees, consultants, other governmental agency representatives, municipal officials and the general public. The position offers a desirable mix of office and field work opportunities.
